🚀 Getting Started with PandaWallets

Creating Your First Wallet

Welcome to PandaWallets! Setting up your first non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet is simple and takes less than 5 minutes.

Step 1: Sign Up

  1. Visit pandawallets.com and click "Sign Up"
  2. Choose a unique username (this cannot be changed later)
  3. Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters, include numbers and symbols)
  4. Optionally provide an email address for account recovery
  5. Click "Create Account"

Step 2: Save Your Seed Phrase

Immediately after account creation, you'll be shown a 12-word seed phrase. This is the most important step!

  1. Write down all 12 words in the exact order shown
  2. Store this paper in a secure location (safe, locked drawer, etc.)
  3. Never take a screenshot or save it digitally
  4. Never share it with anyone, including PandaWallets staff
  5. Confirm you've saved it by entering the words when prompted
⚠️ Critical Warning: Your seed phrase is the ONLY way to recover your wallet if you lose access. Without it, your funds are permanently lost. PandaWallets cannot recover your account without your seed phrase because we never have access to it.

Step 3: Explore Your Dashboard

After securing your seed phrase, you'll be taken to your dashboard where you can:

  • View balances for all supported cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, USDT)
  • Access deposit addresses and QR codes
  • Initiate withdrawals to external wallets
  • View transaction history
  • Manage account settings
✅ Congratulations! Your PandaWallets account is now set up and ready to use. You have complete control over your cryptocurrency!

💰 Depositing & Withdrawing Cryptocurrency

Depositing cryptocurrency into your PandaWallets account is straightforward. Follow these steps for each cryptocurrency you want to deposit.

How to Deposit

Step 1: Navigate to Deposit

  1. Log in to your PandaWallets dashboard
  2. Find the cryptocurrency you want to deposit (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum)
  3. Click the "Deposit" button next to that cryptocurrency

Step 2: Get Your Deposit Address

You'll see:

  • A unique wallet address (long string of letters and numbers)
  • A QR code representing that address
  • A "Copy Address" button for convenience

Important: Each cryptocurrency has its own unique address. Never send Bitcoin to an Ethereum address or vice versa!

Step 3: Send Cryptocurrency

From your external wallet or exchange:

  1. Initiate a withdrawal/send transaction
  2. Paste your PandaWallets deposit address as the destination
  3. Enter the amount you want to send
  4. Review the network fee
  5. Confirm and send the transaction

Step 4: Wait for Confirmations

Your deposit will appear in your PandaWallets balance after blockchain confirmations:

  • Bitcoin: 1-6 confirmations (10-60 minutes)
  • Ethereum: 12-30 confirmations (2-15 minutes)
  • USDT: 12-30 confirmations (2-15 minutes)
⚠️ Important Tips:
  • Always triple-check the deposit address before sending
  • Start with a small test transaction if sending large amounts
  • Ensure you're sending the correct cryptocurrency type
  • Be aware that blockchain transactions are irreversible
  • During network congestion, confirmations may take longer

📤 Withdrawing Cryptocurrency

Withdrawing cryptocurrency from PandaWallets to an external wallet or exchange is quick and secure.

How to Withdraw

Step 1: Navigate to Withdraw

  1. Log in to your dashboard
  2. Click "Withdraw" in the navigation or on your dashboard
  3. Select the cryptocurrency you want to withdraw

Step 2: Enter Withdrawal Details

  • Destination Address: Paste the wallet address where you want to send the funds
  • Amount: Enter the amount to withdraw (or click "Max" to withdraw everything)
  • Network Fee: Review the estimated blockchain fee (automatically calculated)

Step 3: Review and Confirm

  1. Carefully verify the destination address
  2. Confirm the amount is correct
  3. Review the network fee
  4. Check the estimated arrival time
  5. Click "Submit Withdrawal"

Step 4: Transaction Processing

Your withdrawal will show as "Processing" in your transaction history. The status will update to "Completed" once confirmed on the blockchain.

⚠️ Critical Withdrawal Warnings:
  • Double-check the address: Sending to the wrong address means permanent loss of funds
  • Verify cryptocurrency type: Sending Bitcoin to an Ethereum address will result in loss
  • Understand network fees: High fees = faster confirmations, low fees = slower confirmations
  • Withdrawals cannot be cancelled: Once broadcast to the blockchain, transactions are irreversible
  • Consider test transactions: For large amounts, send a small test first

Transaction Troubleshooting

Having issues with a deposit or withdrawal? Here are common problems and their solutions.

Problem: Transaction Not Appearing

Symptoms: You sent crypto but it's not showing in your PandaWallets balance.

Solutions:

  • Check confirmations: Transactions need blockchain confirmations (1-30+ depending on currency). Check the transaction on a block explorer using your transaction ID.
  • Verify correct address: Ensure you sent to the correct PandaWallets deposit address for that specific cryptocurrency.
  • Wait for network congestion to clear: During high network activity, transactions can take longer than usual.
  • Check minimum deposit: Very small amounts (dust transactions) may not be credited.

Problem: Transaction Stuck/Pending

Symptoms: Transaction shows as pending for an unusually long time.

Solutions:

  • Low network fee: If you set a low fee, miners may deprioritize your transaction. Wait for network activity to decrease, or use Replace-By-Fee (RBF) if available.
  • Network congestion: High blockchain activity can delay all transactions. Check current network status on block explorers.
  • Unconfirmed parent transaction: If previous transactions are unconfirmed, new ones will wait. Resolve parent transactions first.

Problem: Wrong Address or Currency

Symptoms: Sent Bitcoin to an Ethereum address, or vice versa.

Solution:

  • Contact support immediately: Email support@pandawallets.com
  • Cross-chain recovery: In some cases (ERC-20 tokens to ETH addresses), recovery may be possible with private key access, but this requires technical expertise.
  • Prevention is key: Always double-check addresses and currency types before confirming transactions.
⚠️ Important Reminders:
  • Blockchain transactions are irreversible - once confirmed, they cannot be undone
  • PandaWallets does not control the blockchain network or transaction speed
  • Always keep your transaction IDs for reference and troubleshooting
  • For urgent issues, contact support with your transaction ID and detailed information
💡 Pro Tip: Before making large transactions, always send a small test amount first. Once the test transaction completes successfully, proceed with the full amount. This prevents costly mistakes and gives you peace of mind.

📜 Smart Contracts & 10% Liquidity Requirement

PandaWallets makes it easy to deploy smart contracts for settlements and compensation. Understanding the 10% liquidity requirement is essential for successful contract deployment.

What Are Smart Contracts?

Smart contracts are self-executing agreements stored on the blockchain. They automatically execute when predefined conditions are met, eliminating the need for intermediaries.

Common use cases:

Understanding the 10% Liquidity Requirement

The 10% liquidity requirement is a fairness and security mechanism that requires both parties in a smart contract to maintain 10% of the contract value in liquid cryptocurrency in their PandaWallets accounts.

Why is the 10% Requirement Necessary?

1. Prevents Bad Faith Actors

By requiring both parties to have "skin in the game," we ensure that participants are financially committed to the contract's success. It becomes economically unfeasible for scammers to deploy multiple fraudulent contracts.

2. Contract Enforcement Mechanism

If a party's balance falls below the 10% threshold, the contract can automatically trigger consequences such as pausing or termination, ensuring compliance throughout the contract duration.

3. Trust Through Verification

Both parties can verify that the other has sufficient liquidity before engaging in the contract, building trust without requiring personal relationships or reputation systems.

4. Reduces Fraudulent Activity

The financial barrier makes it expensive for malicious actors to deploy numerous scam contracts, protecting the PandaWallets community.

Example Scenario

Freelance Web Development Contract:

  • Contract Value: $5,000 (paid in ETH)
  • Client Requirement: Must maintain $500 (10%) in their wallet
  • Freelancer Requirement: Must maintain $500 (10%) in their wallet
  • Contract Duration: 30 days

If either party's balance drops below $500 at any point during the 30 days, the contract is paused and they're notified to restore liquidity. This ensures both parties remain committed throughout the project.

💡 Best Practices: To minimize disputes, ensure all contract terms are clearly defined upfront, maintain detailed documentation throughout the project, and communicate regularly with the other party. Clear expectations prevent most disputes before they occur.

🔒 Security Best Practices

Protecting Your Seed Phrase

Your 12-word seed phrase is the key to your entire wallet. If someone gains access to it, they have complete control over your funds.

DO:

  • ✅ Write it down on paper immediately
  • ✅ Store it in a safe, locked drawer, or security deposit box
  • ✅ Consider splitting it (6 words in one location, 6 in another)
  • ✅ Use a metal backup (fireproof, waterproof seed phrase storage device)
  • ✅ Keep multiple copies in different secure locations
  • ✅ Tell a trusted family member where to find it (in case of emergency)

DON'T:

  • ❌ Take a screenshot or photo
  • ❌ Save it in a text file, email, or cloud storage
  • ❌ Share it with anyone (including PandaWallets support)
  • ❌ Store it on your computer or phone
  • ❌ Post it online or in messaging apps
  • ❌ Use a password manager (many are cloud-based and can be hacked)
